About Us
This is a family owned business in Brown County, Indiana. Jack Harden started the first and largest Brown County Stone quarry business in 1972. It was started, and is still located, 1 and 1/2 miles from Nashville, Indiana. Along with his son Kevin, they have quarried Brown County Sandstone for the community and beyond over the past 44 years. Kevin continues to quarry the stone and build retaining walls. Their stone is used for veneer on houses and buildings, retaining walls, walkways, landscaping, and edging. This stone can be seen throughout the community at various locations including the Abe Martin Lodge, Brown County State Park shelters, Brown County State Park North Lookout Tower and Lower Shelter House, Brown County BMV, New Life Church, Saint Agnes Church, Brown County YMCA, Brown County Annex Building, Brown County Schools Transportation Building as well as the Eagle Park buildings. There are many buildings with shops and restaurants in town also (Locations include some of the following businesses: Casa Del Sol, the Austin Building, Steve Miller's Architectural Buildings, Sweetea's Tea Shop, Chateau Thomas Winery,...) ​They pride themselves in being an honest business that will provide you with the best product at a reasonable price.
